Thrown tall with a pulled handle and a sharp pouring lip, then packed into the anagama kiln we share with three other makers for the annual wood firing. Four days of stoking leaves flame paths and a natural ash glaze down one side.
Water, wine, cordial, a bunch of cow parsley. These are the pieces I'm proudest of and there are only ever a handful.
- 24cm tall, holds 1.2 litres
- Stoneware, wood fired over four days to 1300°C
- Watertight; hand wash only
- Each jug is unique — the one you receive may differ from the photo
