Ochre Rim Serving Platter

Big enough to be the centre of the table — a roast chicken, a whole baked fish, a heap of flatbreads. Thrown wide and shallow, then the rim is banded by hand on the wheel with an ochre slip while it turns.
The brush leaves the band slightly uneven, thicker where it started. I like it that way and I hope you will too.

- Stoneware, oxidation fired to 1260°C
- Food safe, dishwasher safe
