Thrown a little thick, then faceted with a wire tool from base to rim so each panel catches the glaze differently — dark in the hollows, lighter on the edges. The handle is pulled by hand and set with a thumb rest at the top.
The everyday mug in our house. Holds a proper mug of tea, not a polite one.
